How do I use the Bluetooth® Smart Reader when checking the calibration of the 5.0 Smart Sensor?

When checking the calibration of the Rapid RH 5.0 Smart Sensor, the Bluetooth® Smart Reader is used in conjunction with the CalMaster application or the DataMaster™ app as a documentation tool to prove calibration verifications. These must be done every 30 days to ensure the 5.0 Smart Sensor is within the accuracy parameters that the F2170 Standard requires.

The calibration is done by first placing the 5.0 sensor on top of the EasyCare CalCheck®, which is an RH generator. Then the user specifies the salt solution of the EasyCare CalCheck using the app. Next the user inserts the Bluetooth® Smart Reader into the Smart Sensor. Relative humidity and temperature readings will go automatically to the user’s mobile device, and the app will then indicate if the sensor is within tolerance to continue using.
